Church Conference Sings Praises of HH Electronic s TNA Line Array

Mbhetse Productions supplies HH system for Tzaneen Pastors Fraternal Worship Conference in South Africa…

The AFM Fountain of Life Church in the tropical garden town of Tzaneen, South Africa, recently played host to the Tzaneen Pastors Fraternal Worship Conference. Audio clarity at such events is an essential element of proceedings, something which on this occasion might have proved challenging given that the venue was approaching the end of a renovation project. Although the work was almost concluded, the interior had not yet benefitted from carpets or any form of acoustic treatment.

The Conference enlisted the services of audio rental specialists Mbhetse Productions, who deployed HH Electronics TNA Line Array to deliver the necessary power and clarity for the combination of spoken word and music ensemble presentations.

Launched earlier this year, the TNA line array was designed for a wide range of small to medium sized applications and is based around the TNA-2120SA, a multi-channel active subwoofer with integrated Class D amplifier which features two high power 12” low frequency woofers with exceptionally high output, and the TNA1800SA a powerful single 18” active low frequency subwoofer. With three channels of high performance amplification, the TNA-2120SA houses six cutting edge built-in DSP presets and as part of a modular system can power up to six satellite TNA-2051 passive, two-way compact line array loudspeakers, offering an ideal solution that does away with the extra expense of rack amplifiers and processors.

For front of house, Mbhetse Productions deployed a ground-stacked configuration comprising (per side) 1 x TNA-1800S, 1 x TNA-2120SA and 4 x TNA 2051, with TRE-1201 units used for stage monitoring.

According to Chimmy Machimana, the front of house sound engineer for the event:

"The HH Electronics TNA Line Array blew me away. The sound was crystal clear with a very punchy low end, and the coverage was impressive. More impressive is what we were able to achieve in a room with very challenging acoustics.”

Pat Malungani, Owner of Mbhetse Productions was pleased with the positive feedback he received about the HH system and had a special mention for the TRE-1201 monitors:

“The clarity of the monitors was pristine, even in such a challenging acoustic environment. We used the TRE-1201 units as monitors for the presenter and lead vocalist with exceptional results.”

Justin Acres, Director at ApexPro, HH Electronics distributor for South Africa adds:

“The HH Electronics system was a standout at the Tzaneen Pastors Fraternal Worship Conference. It's a powerful tool that can elevate any worship experience and is sure to impress anyone who hears it. We’re excited by the overwhelmingly positive response to the brand in the region and are confident that our efforts to support our local retail partners to promote it will yield great results.”

HH serves the community at Onehunga High School

New Zealand - Onehunga High School is a state co-educational secondary school serving one of the oldest suburbs in Auckland, New Zealand. Overlooking the Manukau Harbour, it was established on its Pleasant Street site in 1959 and enjoys a strong sense of tradition and continuity. As well as providing a wide-ranging curriculum for its students, the school also provides lifelong learning for the local community through its Adult Learning Centre and English Language School.

A significant redevelopment of the school was completed early in 2022 at a cost of approximately $30m, which saw the creation of a number of cutting-edge facilities. Two state-of-the-art teaching facilities were constructed, one of which houses a two-basketball-court gymnasium with exercise room, locker rooms and teaching spaces, the other, a technical block catering to the sciences, woodwork, metalwork, art, food technology and nutrition. Two commercial-grade kitchens and an atrium space completed this building.
An essential element of the new facilities was provision for a flexible, high quality audio system which could deliver clear powerful sound and excellent coverage.

ITL Technologies of Auckland was awarded the AV contract and chose loudspeakers from UK-based HH Electronics. A combination of ceiling and wall-mounted speakers were installed to provide a competitively priced solution.
For teaching areas with suspended ceilings ITL installed HH TNi-C4 ceiling speakers. The TNi-C4 is a passive 4” coaxial speaker with a fully enclosed back and ported enclosure to extend low frequency response. A six position power tap selector located under the front steel grille allows swift output adjustment once installed. With connectivity for 70V/100V and 8 ohm low impedance lines, the TNi-C4 delivers a highly flexible solution.

In areas where suspended ceilings were not present, audio continuity was maintained with the versatile HH TNi-W4 passive 4” wall-mounted unit. The TNi-W4 delivers professional audio output within a compact enclosure and features 4 power tappings ranging from 1.5W - 30W and can be connected to 70V/ 100V lines. With a wide array of connections within a single unit, the TNi-W4’s multi-angled mounting bracket ensured quick and simple installation.

A total of 97 HH loudspeakers were installed at the school. The gym block saw 19 units installed across 10 spaces, whilst in the technical block, 63 units were deployed across 20 teaching spaces. A further 15 units covered 6 spaces in ancillary areas. Onehunga High School now enjoys audio to match its twenty-first century facilities.

Ian Wright, global sales director at HH Electronics, comments: “The provision of excellent audio in education settings is an absolute essential for the successful delivery of a modern teaching and learning environment. We’re very proud that a significant number of HH speakers were installed at Onehunga High School for a solution that met the qualitative and budgetary requirements of its brand new, cutting-edge facilities. Thank you to our NZ distribution partner NSL and ITL technologies for choosing HH to be a part of this impressive project.”

Sounin Development installs range of HH Electronics loudspeakers at prestigious new police HQ building in Phnom Penh…

The inauguration of the new administrative headquarters for the Phnom Penh Municipal Police Comissariat took place recently in the Cambodian capital. The Deputy Prime Minister, senators and members of the National Assembly were all present to see the culmination of a three-year project to deliver the ten-storey construction, which was completed at a cost of US$14 million. After careful consideration, experienced AV consultant and integrator Sounin Development GP Co.,Ltd of Phnom Penh was engaged to design, supply, and install the system. After consultation with leading distribution partner Fast Technologies, AV engineer Sounin Chann chose a variety of HH Electronics loudspeakers to meet the comprehensive brief.

HH TNi-W6 6.5-inch passive surface mount wall speakers featured prominently, with 32 units installed across four rooms on level 8, with a further 8 each for the International Meeting and Conference Rooms respectively on levels 9 and 10. HH Electronics Launches TNA Line Array System

UK-based HH Electronics has announced the launch of its new TNA Active Line Array system, designed for small to medium sized applications, including live sound reinforcement, bars, clubs, houses of worship, education settings, conferencing, and corporate events.

At the heart of the system are the TNA-2120SA, a multi-channel active subwoofer with integrated Class D amplifier which features two high power 12” low frequency woofers with exceptionally high output, and the TNA-1800SA, a powerful single 18” active low frequency subwoofer.

As well as three channels of high performance amplification, the TNA-2120SA unit houses six cutting-edge built-in DSP presets and as part of a modular system, is capable of powering up to six satellite TNA-2051 passive two-way compact line array loudspeakers, offering an ideal installation solution without the extra expense of rack amplifiers and processors.

The TNA-2051 features dual HH-designed 5” LF drivers and 1.33” Celestion HF compression driver. Its outer enclosure features integrated rigging hardware, enabling the unit to be easily installed by a single engineer. Highly flexible, the TNA-2051 can be used in traditional line array systems for long throw applications, or as a standalone full range point source system.

The optimally voiced DSP presets within the TNA-2120SA allow a complete system to be used in flown or ground-stacked configurations, whilst its integrated rigging hardware and optional  suspension bracket and dolly board allow for straightforward installation.
